i watched this movie at home today. 'Secret' directed by Jay Chou himself. it was a really good romance movie, given that its coming from a bugger like him.. and he looks like a potential wu zhong xian stand in.. the girl literally saved the day.

Ye Xianglun, a music student(played by Jay Chou) majoring in piano, transfers to Tamkang (Danjiang) Secondary School. It is a school famous for musically talented students, especially for those who play piano. On the first day of school, as he wanders through the piano building, he hears a mysterious melody being played that leads him to Lu Xiaoyu, another piano major(that girl in the pic). When he asks her about the song she was playing, she tells him that it is a secret that cannot be told. The two develop a relationship that is clouded in mystery, until the realization that the piano will be destroyed on the night of Ye Xianglun's graduation.

AND OF COURSE... to satisfy the fans of jay chou, the story had a predictable good ending. as in predictable in the sense that, we could all anticipate a happy reunion of the lovers. but the best part was, Ye Xianglun risked dying to travel to the past to find Rain.. this was the awwww so sweet part coz when he got there, she greating him with a smile and his body was like... glowing.. almost like an angel descended on earth. ok, his face is shit like i dont doubt but.. tat part was absolutely sweet...

And, nope i still did not develop a crush for jay chou like the other girls.


i went to catch a movie with my frens today, joyce, peiyi and poh ai. a hongkong remake of a hollywood movie. it was a real ride man!!!!! GOD! My impression of chinese movies had never been really good, unless its a good laugh from stephen chow. but this one's a killer!!!! the acting was cool to the max, it was all good.. me and peiyi kept jumping in our seats and the entire cinema was laughing all the time. you should have seen peiyi man. she was sooo enthu and engaged in the movie.. i bet she felt the bumps tat the actor is feeling.HAHA
