ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
i just finished watching the devil wears prada.
tats like, my third time watching it?
i dont know how i'm gonna explain my thoughts on it with my limited amt of vocabulary.
good isnt the word.
nice definately didnt fit in.
everything was so chic.
andy got an amazing job tat millions of girls would kill to have. (i'm included)
miranda is the devil. but at the end of the movie, i kinda felt that, miranda sorta sees andy as the girl tat she couldnt be.
i'm sure she wouldnt want her own daughters to end up like herself.
andy is a pretty strong character in the sense tat, she knew where she was gg. wat she really wanted. and wat she's willing to give up for her ambitions. just tat at the start, she was confused. thus losing her boyfriend. (now now, tat sounds familiar huh....)
and they did part of the movie in paris. GOD, it was so beautiful!!!
NEW YORK! tats the best part!!!!!!!
the fashion capital in america isnt hollywood ok? its NEW YORK!
FASHION AVENUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok i'm losing myself. i think i'm gonna drown in tat fashion dream again.
i just wanna say tat, the local fashion scene and the world fashion scene, are WORLDS apart.
not saying that local fashion scene isnt great. well, compared, we only have like one or two designer who's really hit world class standards.
tan yoong? and wat? the long silenced ashley isham?
we lack an identity which i am pretty sure is dying to be uncovered.
fashion isnt about half drunk socialite wannabes and lame parties.
its an art!
i hate the local fashion scene, they make it seem like a pile of lame skinny girls, all smiling and grinning, trying to pull of some highclass stunt.
tats not fashion.
tats being stupid and acting like a bunch of good for nothing clowns.
its a wonder why singapore's not getting anywhere in the world of fashion.
we're experiencing stunned growth right now.
its not about wearing less. its really about wearing it well.
